Webpage Design

In the summer of 2023 I was tasked with refreshing Parametric’s Careers landing page as well as building two new subpages with more in-depth information about two of the company’s post- and undergraduate programs: Internships and Operations Analyst Class Hires. Both subpages were intended to follow the format of the Investment Analysts subpage, a page I had worked with the Investment Analytics team to build and launch in 2022.

Both the Marketing and HR teams at Parametric were aware that the Careers landing page left potential candidates with much to be desired. By the end of the summer intern program in July we had gathered feedback from users that described the current page as “sterile”, “bland”, and not at all representative of company culture.

The clear goal of this project was to bring life to one of the first pages potential candidates encounter, giving them a better idea of what company culture is like and getting them excited about wanting to become part of the team. The challenge was to do this while adhering to evolving brand standards, new accessibility guidelines, and staying within boundaries set by the team’s website development tool, Sitecore.

Users had expressed that company culture and DEI efforts were something they specifically looked for when checking out potential employers’ Careers pages, so I worked with copywriters and stakeholders to put together a new Careers page that contained all of the important information present on the original page, but shifted the focus to new sections promoting company culture and DEI efforts. I used images from photo shoots I directed, shot, and edited myself of current program participants to bring an authentic human element to the page.
